Amanda Sheehan-Crisp, LPC Associate

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

As a proud San Antonio native from a military family, she has always been passionate about supporting others through life’s challenges. After earning her degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2008, she dedicated her career to advocating for survivors of sexual assault and serving as a caseworker for abused, neglected, and exploited older adults and individuals with disabilities. These experiences deepened her understanding of the need for compassionate mental health care, inspiring her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Now, as she works toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, she is excited to be a part of Counseling Connections of San Antonio, offering meaningful support to individuals and families.

She views counseling as a collaborative journey, much like a road trip, where the destination is achieving your goals, and her role is guiding and facilitating along the way. Taking a person-centered approach, she empowers clients to steer their own path while offering tools and support for growth and healing. She provides counseling services to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children, helping each client navigate life’s complexities and create a brighter future.
